Fun trip to Chicago this week...although half of it was spent laying on the couch (Thanks to Mom, Christina and Grandma...the "Lily entertainers"). But I didn't throw up on the airplane ~ yay! Was able to eat some of my birthday cake. (Thanks, Aunt Jen!) :)
My "morning sickness" is "morning, day, and all night sickness." Smells are revolting, my mouth constantly tastes disgusting, and I am exhausted. If our bodies are built for pregnancy, why is it so much torture? Crazy hormones!

6 Weeks: The Reason Saltines Were Invented
Classic morning sickness - bleh. Could be worse...haven't actually thrown up yet. With Lily I was fine in the morning and awful after 2 or 3pm until I went to bed.
Weird cravings: those disgustingly yummy fat and sugar filled fruit pies I used to eat in high school. I only had one: that was enough to last the next ten years.
Annoyances: Being pregnant automatically means you are the designated driver.

5 Weeks: Definitely Pregnant
People have been telling me you feel everything sooner with the second...very true. No food is appealing, which means I am sick most of the day. Smells are overwhelming. Pants are a little snug, although I haven't gained any weight yet. Have to pee every 10 minutes. So tired...although I did somehow manage to stave off the 9:30 sleepiness this week by finishing the Stephenie Meyer saga.
